Scaffolding
Offering good access to primary source documents and providing tools that make it easier to create historical narratives from them is not enough. There is so much raw material available on the internet that the task of creating a story may be difficult without some guidance.
Students and teachers will benefit greatly from the creation of scaffolding that builds on the rich array of resources and offers varying degrees of guidance throughout the process.
Teachers will be offered structured help in constructing their stories and be encouraged to offer their own lesson plans and guidance to other teachers.
